Bakuchiol Edelweiss Antioxidant Cerum

Bakuchiol is an extract from the seeds of the Psoralea Corylifolia plant. In one study, it was found that 0.5% concentration of Bakuchiol induces similar skin effects as 0.5% retinol, including reducing hyperpigmentation, increase skin firmness, and overall skin quality. Bakuchiol is photostable and won’t breakdown in sunlight, so it can be safely use for both day and night.

Edelweiss Extract (Leontopodium Alpinum Extract), with its high chlorogenic acids content and unique leontopodic acid profile helps the skin resist the oxidative stress brought on by environmental aggressors and averts the natural decline of skin elasticity and dermal density to maintain a firm and lifted overall youthful appearance.

Niacinamide is important in skincare in many aspects and has many different benefits depending on its concentration in the product. At 2.5%, niacinamide improves barrier function, decreases TEWL, smoothen and brighten skin tone.

Geranylgeranyl-Isopropanol is a Nobel prize winning high-tech ingredient with compelling anti-ageing benefits for the skin. It protects the skin from oxidative stress and helps stabilise skin’s telomere length. With each skin cycle turnover, the telomere length shortens, but by maintaining telomere length, the skin can maintain its youthful complexion longer.

 Amla or Indian Gooseberry Extract (Phyllanthus Emblica Fruit Extract), is a much celebrated plant in Ayurvedic medicine. With a balanced acid profile of vitamin C, ellagic acid, gallic acid, tannins, polyphenols and flavonoids, it can help reduce redness and skin pigmentation, purify and tone the skin without irritation.
